The tournament will be hosted from June 1 to 19 next year with the participation of 16 teams, including Vietnam who qualified after defeating Myanmar Tuesday. Fans will get to watch all games across all FPT Television channels.
FPT will also produce sideline content with expert commentary and reviews, along with the latest tournament updates on social media.
The tech giant is planning to negotiate with other broadcasters to share its rights so the tournament could reach an even larger audience.
In October last year, FPT purchased the rights to all tournaments under Asian Football Confederation (AFC) from 2021 to 2024 for an undisclosed fee.
FPT will gain access to a total of 1,641 games, 229 to include Vietnam's national women's and men's teams, youth squads, and clubs, with World Cup qualifiers, Asian Cup 2023 and U23 Asian Cup 2022 the major events.
