English football star's marriage going through tough times

According to The Sun, when Trippier participated in Euro 2024 with England, Charlotte was not in Germany to support her husband.

Trippier and his wife's £3.8 million ($4.91 million) mansion in Newcastle is up for sale. A source told The Sun that the eight-year marriage of the Newcastle United defender and his wife is in a very difficult stage.

"Things have been rough for a while. Kieran wanted to try to resolve matters before the Euros but decided to wait until after," the source said.

The rift between Trippier and his wife is said to begin when the 33-year-old defender attended a party to celebrate Champions League qualification with Newcastle last May. He was spotted lifting up a blonde girl while having fun with teammates at a karaoke bar. Trippier also cuddled the woman before wrapping his arms around her. Charlotte was on vacation in Spain at that time.

Trippier and Charlotte got engaged in 2015 before getting married in 2016. The two have three children together: Jacob born in 2016, Esme Rose in 2020 and the youngest born in 2022.

Trippier started every match for England at Euro 2024 from the group stage to the semifinals. He did not play the final due to injury. England ultimately lost 1-2 to Spain and missed out on the Euro title for the second time in a row.
