Tyson and Paul will step in the ring at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas in front of 80,000 spectators.
According to The Sporting News, the fight purse of this bout is about US$80 million, and Paul is set to take half of that.
"I'm here to make $40 million and knock out a legend," Paul said at a press conference before the fight.
Tyson is expected to make over $20 million for this showdown.
"This fight is not going to change my life financially," Tyson told SPORTbible. "If I did it for free, it's not going to change my life. My wife is constantly telling me, 'You do not need to do this fight'. This is what I want to do, this is me. I'm seeking my glory."
Originally scheduled for July, Tyson and Paul's fight was postponed after Tyson experienced an ulcer flare-up and had to seek medical attention.
Known as "Iron Mike" and one of the greatest boxers of all time, Tyson, 58, retired in 2005 but returned for an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020. He has remained in great physical condition since, although this match, a professional one, will be a real challenge considering the age gap between him and Paul.
Paul, 27, who has won 10 of his 11 professional bouts, suffered his only loss to Tyson Fury’s brother Tommy in a split decision last year.
According Celebrity Net Worth, Paul’s net worth is about $80 million, while Tyson is worth $10 million, although he has earned around $430 million over his boxing career before losing the majority of it to bad investments and excessive spending habit.
The fight will air exclusively on Netflix.
