Conor McGregor claimed he has been offered US$100 million and 100 Gold Card visas by U.S. President Donald Trump to headline a special UFC event at the White House, scheduled for June 2026.

The proposed event would transform the South Lawn of the White House into a UFC arena as part of celebrations for the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

UFC chief executive Dana White has reportedly visited the White House this month to pitch the idea, Daily Mail reported.

McGregor, who has not fought a UFC match since his loss to Dustin Poirier in July 2021, confirmed his role as the centerpiece of the event on social media.

"$100 million to fight at the White House along with 100 U.S. 'Golden Visas' for myself and family and friends," McGregor wrote on X. "I look very forward to entertaining the fighting world once again. A pleasure I never take for granted!"

A Gold Card visa is a program announced on Sept. 19 by Trump administration that allows any one who donates $1 million to the Commerce Department to get a fast-tracked immigration process, according to Reuters.

At 37, McGregor has been posting training videos online, declaring he is ready to return to the octagon and even to bare-knuckle fighting.

"We'll build the greatest card of all time," White said, as quoted by The Sun. "Conor and I have been talking consistently, he wants this fight bad and when you get to a level that Conor is at you have to find things that motivate you, and the White House card has definitely motivated him."

The event would host roughly 5,000 spectators inside the arena, with an outdoor screening zone accommodating up to 85,000 people. AI-generated images show the White House illuminated in American flag colors, the octagon positioned in the center of the stage, surrounded by fireworks and a giant cover in case of rain. Press conferences and weigh-ins are expected near the Lincoln Memorial.

Many fans have dubbed the event "a spectacle" and compared it to the scale of the Super Bowl or the World Cup.

For McGregor, this event represents a major comeback opportunity after four years away from the octagon.
