Four Vietnamese players have made it to the AFF Cup 2022 All-Star XI selected by fans.

Thailand have five in the team: Kritsada Kaman, Sasalak Haiprakhon, Theerathon Bunmathan, Sarach Yooyen, and Teerasil Dangda.

Indonesian midfielder Jordi Amat and Malaysian striker Faisal Halim round off the 11.

Bunmathan, the Thai captain, won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award as his team beat Vietnam 1-0 in the second leg of the AFF Cup final played on January 16 to win the title.

Bunmathan led in the number of passes (697), assists (six) and chances created (30) during the tournament.

Linh and his Thai counterpart Dangda shared the Top Scorer Award with six goals apiece while Halim ended with five.

Lam set a tournament record for a goalkeeper by keeping a clean sheet in six consecutive matches and conceded the fewest goals in the tournament – three, all to Thailand in the two-legged final.
