With 2,600 children participating, Kun Marathon Quy Nhon 2023 has become the second largest tournament for kids in the VnExpress Marathon system, after Kun Marathon Hue 2023, which attracted 3,000 children.

Phan Nguyen Xuan Anh, a Quy Nhon resident, registered for five children in her family to compete in the race. Kun Marathon Quy Nhon will be her children's second VM race since 2022.
"There are not many competitions for kids in Quy Nhon. My children are excited about the race, and have been practicing every day," she said.
The organizers started distributing Bib and race kits to the children runners on Friday morning.

The children will be divided into different age groups to conquer the nearly 1 km-long coastal running track. Some challenges will be set up along the race to test their speed, strength, and dexterity. Runners will receive medals and finisher items after finishing the race.
The kids' run comes before the main race for adults on Sunday.
