The driver was fined VND17 million (US$730) and had his license revoked for six months, for driving at 100 kph on the wrong side of the Dau Giay – Phan Thiet Expressway.
He told traffic police he got lost while on his way to the south-central Binh Thuan Province from Dong Nai Province near Ho Chi Minh City.

Readers said the punishment was too light.
