Golf tourism has emerged as a promising tourism product in Hanoi, which continues to attract international tourists from key markets like the Republic of Korea, Japan, the United States, and Europe.
Hanoi currently has six clusters of golf courses with 10 international standard courses, including Long Bien Golf Course, Van Tri Golf Club, Kings' Island Golf, Minh Tri, and Legend Hill.
The city also offers a wide range of high-quality accommodations, like 4-5 star hotels and resorts, to cater to golf enthusiasts' needs.
The World Golf Awards, founded in 2014, recognize excellence in golf tourism, outstanding golf courses, and premier golf destinations.
Voting for the awards took place from February to late September, with participation from both golf professionals and enthusiasts.
Nominated cities were evaluated for golf facilities, services, and accommodation.
Vietnam secured the titles of the Best Golf Destination in the World and Asia in both 2019 and 2021.
