An evening of Japanese city pop

A Saturday night live DJ event at Standing Bar will play an authentic mix of Japanese City Pop music – known for its blend of funk, soul, and disco – which was popular in Japan during the late 1970s and 1980s. This music style has seen a resurgence in popularity, thanks to the internet. The event will feature DJ K•A•Z, a Japanese DJ and music creator from Hiroshima, who is visiting Hanoi for the weekend to perform.
