Hanoi hotel among world's 25 best in Tripadvisor ranking

Lotte Hotel in Hanoi is the only Vietnamese representative to break into this year's list of the world's 25 best hotels as voted by Tripadvisor readers.

The hotel ranked 13th on the list of the annual Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice Best of the Best Awards, determined based on the quality and quantity of traveler reviews and ratings posted on the American travel site over the 12-month period from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2021.

Situated on the upper part of the magnificent 65-floor building in the downtown area near Hanoi's iconic tourist destinations, the hotel has 235 standard rooms and 83 suites with each offering a panoramic view of the capital.

It also has a fitness center, outdoor swimming pool, basketball court, kids play center, and 24-hour gym service.

The hotel has over 2,100 reviews on Tripadvisor's website, with 98 percent of readers recommending it.

According to Tripadvisor, the lowest price for a night's stay is VND2.23 million ($96.45).

Tulemar Bungalows and Villas in Costa Rica was named the best hotel in the world, followed by Hotel Colline de France in Brazil and Ikos Aria in Greece.
