CNN lists Mui Ne resort among best new places for 2023

The Anam Mui Ne Resort in Mui Ne, scheduled to open in January, is one of 20 new hotels to check out in 2023, CNN has recommended.

The resort has Indochina-inspired designs with mosaic tiles, statues on plinths, clawfoot bathtubs, and leather-bound tables.

Its 127 rooms feature original paintings by Vietnamese artists about the country and woodwork made by local craftsmen.

Room rates start at US$260 a night.

Mui Ne, a beach resort town in the south central coast famous for its adventure sports, enjoys a warm climate year round and has become a favorite destination for Western tourists in recent years.

The CNN list also included Punakha River Lodge in Bhutan, Emerald Faarufushi Resort & Spa in the Maldives, Shinta Mani Mustang in Nepal, and Hoshino Resort KAI Yufuin in Japan.
