Vietnam Youth Orchestra (VYO) Grand Concert 2023
On Sunday, the Hanoi Opera House will play host to an event titled "the Vietnam Youth Orchestra (VYO) Grand Concert 2023." This marks over a year of the orchestra's efforts to connect with audiences and share the values of art.

The program for the evening offers a journey through classical music, incorporating cultural influences from around the globe. Attendees will explore the connection between classical compositions and the distinct sounds from various regions of Vietnam.
Apart from the musical performance, attendees can participate in exploration activities. An exhibition will display a variety of orchestral instruments, appealing to the curiosity of music enthusiasts. Mini games will elucidate the intricate model of the Symphony Orchestra, providing a deeper understanding of orchestral dynamics.
The event will take place on Dec. 3, at 8 p.m., at Hanoi Opera House, at 1 Trang Tien Street, Hoan Kiem District. Tickets range from VND150,000 to 500,000 ($6 to $20). Interested attendees can sign up for the ticket here.
Art for You 16th Edition
The 16th edition of "Art for You", an art fair, is set to take place from Nov. 30 to Dec. 10, at Manzi Art Space. Established in 2014 with the dual purpose of compensating artists for their contributions and supporting independent art spaces in Hanoi, Art for You has grown into a platform for local artists to exhibit and sell their work.

The event features over 200 artists and showcases more than 400 pieces of art. It aims to appeal to a diverse audience, ensuring that both seasoned art buyers and novice enthusiasts can find something to take home.

MAP 2023 | The Alternative Mobility
The "MAP 2023 | The Alternative Mobility" exhibition, hosted by Heritage Space, introduces a contemporary art showcase exploring the theme of mobility within a context of environmental, political, and social uncertainties.

In collaboration with Hochschule für Künste Bremen (HfK) in Germany, the exhibition is part of the Month of Art Practice (MAP) 2023, an annual international exchange project initiated by Heritage Space in 2015. The event also contributes to the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2023, aligning with the festival's theme, "Flow".
The exhibition in Hanoi will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., from Nov. 28 to Dec. 17, excluding Mondays, at the High Voltage Building 33B, Gia Lam Train Factory, Long Bien District.
Everything Jazzis: Disney
The event "Everything Jazzis: Disney'' delves into the connection between Walt Disney's music and the Jazz genre. Disney's films, spanning different themes and periods, include elements of Jazz, showing its widespread influence.

"Everything Jazzis: Disney" plans to reveal a musical universe through 20 selected songs, inviting audiences to immerse themselves in the mix of Disney's storytelling and the timeless Jazz genre, ranging from movies like The Aristocats, Pinocchio, The Lion King, and The Jungle Book.
The event is set to take place at Au Co Theater, 8 Huynh Thuc Khang Street, Ba Dinh District, on Dec. 2 and 3, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets range from VND395,000 to VND695,000 ($16 to $28). Interested attendees can sign up for tickets through the link.
Hanoi Christmas Market 2023
"Hanoi Christmas Market 2023" is an annual festive event hosted by Hanoi Events, taking place this weekend. The event promises a festive atmosphere with various activities. Santa Claus will be present at the market. The enchanting Santa's Grotto, adorned with lights and festive decorations, provides the perfect backdrop for memorable photos with Santa.

The event includes a Santa's Grotto where you can capture memorable photos with Santa Claus. There will be live music performances and a variety of food from Hanoi's local vendors. To enhance the holiday spirit, mulled wine, a rich and spicy festive beverage, will be available for visitors to sip on as they explore the market stalls.
Tickets for the event are priced at VND100,000 ($4) at the door, and children under 8 years old can enter for free. Advance tickets can be purchased online for convenience. The event is scheduled for Dec. 2 and 3, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, at The 100 Garden, situated at 68/238 Au Co Street, Tay Ho District.
