Vietnam has resumed some regular international flight routes, but many remain uncertain of how to get the approval to enter.

"As I previously stated in various articles, Vietnam should have an official website like Singapore and Thailand so that travellers are aware of [arrival procedure] before entering Vietnam."

"I have a legal WP and TRC, married to a Vietnamese, and yet I still have no way of leaving and entering the country without exhorbitant fees and paperwork. Why are they doing this? Why is it so difficult? Just open the country for legal residents."

"Indeed there is not much coordination with the different departments. So many apps to register on, declare etc. And that's before you have even entered the country. There does seem to be one constant however. Entering Vietnam is going to be expensive. I hope the situation improves for these people soon."
Roland Lawrence

"Entry permit procedure is an administrative and financial burden. It has no clear effect on health related issues, as all arrivals have to be tested and go to quarantine. So why is it needed?"
Christian Grajek

"Should open the travel really soon, now hotels, travel companies, restaurant owners all suffering in cities like Da Nang and Nha Trang. They should have the chance to make some money, especially after 2 years."

"The government must also extend resumption of flights to some countries in Africa which are considered low risk area. Most Asian and European countries have resumed work. Good measures must be put in place. Covid 19 is not leaving us now and we can't wait for it to disappear from the face of the Earth before doing something."
