Vietnam confirms 3,351 new Covid-19 cases

Of the new cases, 1,111 were recorded in the southern province of Binh Duong, followed by Ho Chi Minh City (935) and Long An Province (281).

Vietnam has recorded 173,863 local Covid-19 cases since April 27.

3,501 patients were discharged Wednesday, bringing the total since the pandemic began to 54,332.

256 deaths were announced Wednesday, including those from previous days, bringing the tally to 2,327.

7.29 million people have received Covid-19 vaccine, in which over 744,000 fully vaccinated.
