Nguyen Dinh Ky, 41, and Phan Hoang Bich Tien, 31, are under probe for "deliberately causing damage to others' properties."
The two told the police that they know each other. They had argued at a coffee shop earlier, so Tien drove her five-seat cat to hit Ky's SUV sedan from behind several times as they stopped at the red light in Ba Ria City.
Ky turned his car to hit Tien's heads-on several times after that.
The entire drama lasted for around three minutes. Both of them then drove away before being summoned by the police.
Many people stopped and filmed it.
