The bar, 1.5 meters long and weighing 10 kilograms is part of a roandabout construction site at Ngoc Hoi intersection in downtown Nha Trang, a famous tourist attraction in central Vietnam.
It dropped at around 11:15 a.m. when many drivers were moving past the project.

Two motorcyclists were injured, with a woman suffering a head injury as the bar broke her helmet, and a man getting wounded in his arm.
Both of them are being treated at the General Hospital of Khanh Hoa Province, home to Nha Trang.
A representative from Phuc Son Group JSC, the project’s investor, confirmed that the iron bar fell from the construction site above the street.
Police are investigating the accident and Khanh Hoa’s Department of Transport is requesting a report from the investor.
Work started on the project of Ngoc Hoi Roundabout, which costs VND1.3 trillion (US$55.3 million), in 2017.
It is considered a major project to ease traffic congestion in Nha Trang.
