At around 9:30 p.m. a sedan driven by a man aged around 30 suddenly crashed into five motorbikes, whose riders had stopped at the intersection of Truong Chinh and Pham Van Bach streets.

The collision sent the motorbikes flying five meters, leaving three people slightly injured.

The injured were given first aid by the SOS Support Team, a volunteer group, before being taken to hospital.

"The victims were grazed and not seriously injured," a team member named Man said.

At the scene five damaged motorbikes lay amid debris from broken parts and mirrors.

The car was slightly damaged but the driver was unscathed.

The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
