Three people die in apartment fire

The fire started within the apartment spanning 20 m2 at around 2 a.m. Dozens of police officers, firefighters and search and rescue personnel were deployed to the site. As the doors were locked, officers had to bust them open.

Three bodies were found near the restroom. The victims were a 45-year-old woman, a 15-year-old girl and a man. Several properties perished in the fire.

The apartment row of 10 rooms for rent is owned by Nguyen Minh Hoang. The apartment on fire had several clothing items to be sold for Tet, an electric bike, a motorbike and other personal belongings.

Police are investigating the cause of the fire.
