Skeleton of man dead for months found in unfinished house

A scrap collector spotted the body when it was on top of a mattress on the third floor of the building. The house was not occupied by anyone at the time, a representative of Binh Minh Ward said.

Based on the last call of the man's mobile phone, authorities said the man may have died around mid-February. The body had already decomposed, leaving behind only a skeleton, so it was not possible to immediately verify the identity of the man.

An investigation is ongoing.
