Panic in HCMC neighborhood after man smashes hotel windows, swings to nearby house

The incident occurred around 9 p.m. when residents heard unusual noises coming from a hotel. Upon investigation, they discovered a shirtless man on the third floor, smashing the windows before climbing out onto the porch, approximately 10 meters above the ground.

Despite efforts by bystanders to coax him down, the man held onto a rope tied to the top floor and swung across to the roof of an adjacent house.

Police arrived at the scene and subdued the man, who was reportedly incoherent and unable to respond to questions. He was taken into custody for further investigation.

According to witnesses, the man had checked into the hotel with a woman, who has also been detained by police for questioning.
