Man stopped from setting kindergarten class on fire

Le Cong Q, 25, was summoned by police afterwards for questioning regarding his intention of setting fire to the class, local media reported.

The police said Q rode a motorbike to the kindergarten, bringing with him a plastic bottle containing gasoline. He then entered the facility, opened up the bottle, but was stopped by some female teachers standing nearby before he could set the class on fire.

At the police station, Q, seemingly delirious, said he"was sad due to family problems." A quick drug test returned negative. Police seized a plastic bottle containing gasoline and a box of matches from Q.

At the time of the incident, the classroom had around 50 students and teachers.
