A driver in HCMC rammed his seven-seat car into the motorbike of two men carrying a bag containing multiple dogs that had been tasered and stolen.

Camera footage revealed that the two men on motorbike were carrying a large bag in Tan Thoi Nhat Ward, District 12 at around 7 a.m. Wednesday. When the motorbike stopped, one man threw a dog onto the road, and kicked the animal hard, apparently to make it unconcious.

At that moment, a car from behind rammed into the back of the motorbike. The two men on the motorbike fell down and tried to run away from the scene.

Tuan, who lives in the area, said the car driver got off the vehicle and chased after the two dog thieves, but failed to catch them.

The thieves left their motorbike, which was crushed after being rammed twice, and a bag containing dozens of tasered dogs. The car was damaged in the front.

Nguyen Hai Lam, chairman of the Tan Thoi Nhat Ward People's Committee, said the two people on motorbikes had stolen dogs from several families in the area.

The man driving the car figured out what they were doing and had been tailing them.

Police of District 12 managed to catch one of the two thieves on Wednesday.
