Man slashes woman's throat on Hanoi street in broad daylight

The 52-year-old woman, unnamed, was selling iced tea on Hoang Hoa Tham Street at around noon when two men on a motorbike came at her. One of them got off the bike, rushed towards the woman and slashed her in the neck, a witness said.

The knife used to attack the woman was left at the scene.

An investigation is ongoing.
