Hai Phong City allowed night clubs and karaoke parlors to reopen Wednesday for two months on a trial basis 10 months after they were ordered closed due to Covid-19.

They need to follow coronavirus prevention protocols, as do their customers.

Hai Phong in northern Vietnam had closed down all bars, pubs, clubs, karaoke and massage parlors since May 2021 amid the Covid-19 crisis. As of Tuesday the port city had had over 104,000 Covid cases and 136 deaths.
