One killed in gun, sword fight

Nguyen Truong Giang (nicknamed Giang Linh), Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Nguyen Quoc Hung, Lu Gia Hung and another man also named Nguyen Truong Giang were detained by Tra Vinh police to be investigated for murder.

Giang Linh and Huynh Hai Tuan had conflicts with one another and arranged a fight, an investigation revealed. On Monday, Giang Linh and his accomplices brought with them guns, knives and swords, along with other weapons, to look for Tuan's gang.

At noon the same day, upon seeing Tuan’s gang, Giang Linh’s group used guns to shoot at Tuan and his group, wounding him. Tuan eventually died from his injuries, while one of his underlings suffered a minor injury.

Police caught Giang Linh and his four accomplices Tuesday night as they were hiding in Tra Vinh. Five guns and several knives and swords were also seized in the process.
