Jonathan Standen, Executive Principal of AIS, said that the AISA Games are one of several activities designed to cultivate a passion for sports and holistic development among AIS students.

This initiative reflects the school's unwavering commitment to providing students with opportunities for physical exercise as an integral part of their educational journey, fostering a confident and dynamic lifestyle.

A noteworthy feature of the AISA Games 2023 is their culmination during the Open Day, which will offer parents an opportunity to visit the school, explore the facilities, and observe AIS students' learning and recreational environment. School representatives will be on hand to address parental inquiries.

This year, parents will have a unique opportunity to witness the final matches between students representing different countries at the conference. This experience will allow parents to feel the fervor and enthusiasm of these talented athletes while deepening their understanding of AIS's commitment to a comprehensive educational philosophy.

According to Matt Washer, the Sports Director of the Australian International School (HCMC), the hallmark of the AISA Games is its ability to ignite passion, enthusiasm, and unity within a competitive and noble sporting environment.

He believes that each AISA Games competition showcases international students' diligence and determination as they vie for prestigious medals.

Ultimately, every participant emerges as a victor and a champion by transcending their personal boundaries.

"Sports provide students with a unique platform for self-expression that cannot be replicated elsewhere. They learn to face victory and defeat with grace and resilience. Through these competitions, students are nurtured with numerous positive attributes," Washer said.

Principal Jonathan Standen also highlighted the importance of parents making informed decisions when selecting the right learning environment for their children, considering the numerous educational options in Vietnam, including international schools.

"In my opinion, to make an informed choice, you must visit the school in person. Information provided by others can only scratch the surface. During your visit, you should experience everything, from the facilities, programs, and teachers to the learning environment and teaching philosophy of that school," Standen said.

The event of Open Day is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Nov. 18 at the Australian International School (HCMC), at 264 Mai Chi Tho, An Phu Ward in Thu Duc City. For comprehensive information about the event, please refer to the relevant details provided on this website here.
