Private tutor accused of molesting boys

Ho Cong Tuan, 31, a local resident, has been arrested for questioning.

Tuan has a degree in mathematics and been running a tutoring center for secondary-school students at home for several years.

According to the police, on Jan. 22 the mother of a 15-year-old boy, who attends Tuan's classes, found out that he had taken a photo of his private parts and sent it to Tuan.

When she asked him she learned that Tuan had been sexually harassing her son, touching his genitals and taking photos of them.

She complained to the police, who found out that Tuan had committed similar lewd acts with a number of other boys.

Adults found guilty of molesting people under 16 face jail terms of six months to three years.
