All the students attend Hoang Van Thu Secondary School in Chuong My District.
The girl had a conflict with another student at school and the two sides decided to meet on the afternoon of June 6 to settle the dispute.
When the girl arrived at the meeting point, outside the school, a group of seven students were already waiting for her.
They rushed to beat her up, stripped off her clothes, forced her to smoke cigarettes, filmed what they did, and posted the video online.
The girl suffered both from physical and mental injury and had to be hospitalized for treatment.
Her father reported the incident to the police.
