Saigon Jewelry Company gold bar price rose 0.52% to VND77.15 million ($3,153.48) per tael Tuesday, highest since Jan. 13.

Gold ring price went up 1.46% to VND64.05 million per tael. A tael equals 37.5 grams or 1.2 ounces.

Globally spot gold was up 0.01% to $2,032.73 per ounce Tuesday morning, supported by Middle East tensions and a weaker U.S. dollar, according to financial data platform FXStreet.

Demand for gold as a safe investment option surged after a drone attack in Jordan, amidst worldwide uncertainties.

Investors are now focusing on the forthcoming meeting of the U.S. Federal Reserve, anticipating that interest rates will remain unchanged and keen on insights about future monetary policies.
