Saigon Jewelry Company gold bar price fell 0.26% to VND75.95 million per tael Thursday morning.

Gold ring price dropped 0.47% to VND63.4 million per tael. A tael equals 37.5 grams or 1.2 ounces.

Gold price rose little during the Asian session on Thursday and for now, seems to have snapped a two-day losing streak to over a one-month low touched the previous day, according to financial data platform FXStreet.

Spot gold was at 2008.34 per ounce at 11.07 a.m. up 0.10% for the day.

A slight decline in the U.S. dollar, combined with geopolitical unrest and economic challenges in China, is helping to draw buyers to gold around the significant $2,000 level.
