Gasoline price hits 10-week high

Gasoline price hits 10-week high

Gasoline prices rose to the highest since Nov. 13 while diesel price reached a nine-week high.

The popular fuel RON95 went up 4.09% to VND23,400 per liter.

Biofuel E5 RON92 gained 3.55% to VND22,170.

Diesel rose 0.89% to VND20,370, highest since Nov. 23.

Global fuel prices rose in the last seven days due to rising tension in the Middle East and tightened supply in the U.S.

RON95 rose 5% to $98.45 per barrel while diesel went up 1% to $101.65, according to the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
