VnExpress Marathon offers up to 45% discount with combo deals

From now until April 15, participants who purchase a bib for the Hue race in combination with another event within the system will enjoy a 20% discount. Those registering for three races are eligible for a 25% discount, four races 30%, five races 35%, and six races 45%. Runners can register for the races here.

This special offer commemorates the 49th anniversary of the liberation of Thua Thien Hue Province (March 26, 1975–March 26, 2024). Renowned for its vibrant running community, this region has become a cherished destination for enthusiasts nationwide. VnExpress has established a presence in Hue since 2020, transforming it into one of Vietnam's premier running events.

The 4th edition of VnExpress Marathon Hue, scheduled for April 21, stands as the pinnacle event of the Summer Festival "The Shining Imperial City." This festival forms part of the 2024 Four Seasons Festival. Throughout this period, participants will immerse themselves in a myriad of activities celebrating the region's rich culture, heritage, and people. Notably, the ancient capital will offer free admission to various Nguyen Dynasty relics for participating runners, including the younger participants in the Kun Marathon.

With one month remaining until the event, Thua Thien Hue Province has prepared services and accommodations to welcome 8,000 runners and their families. Numerous hotels, guesthouses, homestays, restaurants, and transport services have devised discounts and special offers for runners. The province and organizers have also planned various sideline activities to meet the sightseeing, exploration, and leisure needs of visitors.

The design of the VnExpress Marathon Hue medal draws inspiration from the majestic silhouette of the Imperial City, adorned with iconic landmarks such as the Truong Tien Bridge and the Five Phoenix Pavilion. The hues of purple, reminiscent of the sunset over the Perfume River, and the delicate pink of blooming parasol tree flowers along the citadel's pathways in April, serve as the creative muse for the race shirts.

In 2024, VnExpress Marathon promises to bring new experiences to runners everywhere. Among these, the race route will be adjusted to ensure safety and optimize performance for participants. Notably, enhancements to the race route will focus on improving safety measures and enhancing performance for all runners. The starting and finishing points will be situated along Le Duan Street by the picturesque Perfume River, in contrast to their placement farther apart during the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
