My wife drinks way too much

I’m 36, and my wife is 35. We have been married for 13 years and have two sons. As my wife got married and had kids at a young age, she only started focusing on building her career in recent years.

My wife joined her current company 10 years ago and was promoted to the deputy head of her department. Her occupation requires her to maintain her network, so she goes eat and drink with her coworkers and business partners between two and three times a week.

She has a high alcohol tolerance and often returns home sober even after having five to six bottles of beer.

I understand it since I acknowledge that drinking helps her a lot at work, even though I rarely drink because I do not like alcohol.

But frequently drinking has made it one of my wife’s habits, and she sometimes drinks at home as well. I am afraid that will become a permanent habit that can harm my wife’s health. Sometimes I also feel annoyed looking at her drinking like a man.

I tried encouraging her to quit drinking, but she said she could not because of her job.

What should I do?
