Hong Kong actress Gigi Lai dazzles in Cong Tri gown at Vogue Forces of Fashion event in China

The off-shoulder dress, priced at approximately US$9,000, is part of Cong Tri's Spring-Summer 2022 collection and is crafted from luxurious silk.

Lai, 53, appeared at the event on Monday as a special guest and presented an award to Chinese actress Liu Shihi.

Best known for her roles in popular films and TV dramas like "War and Beauty", "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber", and" Young and Dangerous", Lai is a beloved figure in Asia. She also achieved success as a singer and music artist.

In 2009, Gigi made headlines when she married billionaire businessman Patrick Ma Ting-kung, a member of Hong Kong's largest media group, Oriental Press Group. He bought a US$9 million duplex unit in Branksome Grande, in Hong Kong’s affluent Mid-Levels neighbourhood, as a wedding gift and sent her to a private hospital in Sydney, Australia, when she fell pregnant in 2010, according to the South China Morning Post.

The couple has three daughters, and Lai now runs a chain of beauty clinics, maintaining a luxurious lifestyle away from the entertainment industry.

Her family resides in a mansion valued at US$141.6 million, where she enjoys swimming and practicing yoga with her children, according to HK01.
