Behind-the-scenes photos of the series circulated on social media Monday showed Collins strolling through the streets of Rome, Italy, in a design belonging to the Spring-Summer 2024 collection of Cuong’s brand SIXDO.
The outfit features a classic style, consisting of a vest and a pencil skirt made from white brocade, adorned with sequins and beads to enhance visual effects. This suit marks the first time Cuong applied his embellishment technique to a ready-to-wear collection.
The actress completed her look with a Lady Dior bag.
Cuong revealed that a month after his debut at New York Fashion Week in September last year, the "Emily in Paris" film crew contacted him to discuss collaboration ideas, proposing that they wanted to have him create costumes for Collins’ character Emily in the series.
"I designed the outfits as requested and quickly sent them to the U.S. to meet the filming schedule for this year," Cuong shared.
Collins, 35, began performing on screen at the age of two. In the late 2000s, she began acting and modeling more regularly, and has since achieved recognition for her acting.
