P&G has carried out a community project called "Go green to lift up dreams" to donate school furniture recycled from production materials to six schools in Ben Tre province.

The furniture including tables, benches and bookshelves was gifted on December 6 and 7 to Phan Triem Secondary School, Tieu Hoc 2 Primary School, Huong My 1 Primary School, Hoa Loi Primary School, Hung Le Secondary School, and An Thuan Secondary School.

In addition, each school was provided with a new TV for teaching and learning activities. More than 2,370 school stationery sets were given to students and poor children in the southern province.

At some schools, the students together participated in planting trees in old plastic bottles, decorating the plant pots, and enjoying a color collage activity with P&G staff.

Doan Van On, Principal of Hoa Loi Primary School, Binh Dai District, said: "Because of the shortage of classrooms, teaching equipment and facilities, students have not had the opportunity to enjoy extra-curricular activities. This is also a chance to help them understand environmental sustainability and learn how to reuse waste."
