Floodwaters after a heavy rain from nearby fields spilled into a family’s yard and brought schools of wild fish looking for shelter. The homeowner bought a fishing net to seize the rare opportunity and ended up with a massive fresh catch.
Without stepping into rivers or fields, she was able to fish in her own yard during the flood season. The catch added fresh food to her family's meals as well as brought simple rural joy. The video shows that despite the flooding, people in rural Vietnam stayed optimistic and made the most of the situation.
