Moffatt brothers set for Vietnam return

Bob and Clint Moffatt, members of Canadian band The Moffatts, will return to Vietnam to perform and shoot a new music video in 2021.

On their Facebook page, The Moffatts said Music Travel Love, a band formed by Bob and Clint Moffatt of the famous Canadian group, would hold a concert at Saigon’s Hoa Binh Theater on March 18, 2021.

This is the first time for the duo to return to Vietnam since 1999.

According to organizers, Bob and Clint will arrive in Vietnam one week before the concert to travel and record their new music video at Ban Gioc Waterfall of northern Cao Bang Province, Sapa Town in the mountainous province of Lao Cai, and Hanoi. Two British bands whose names have not been revealed will join the concert.

Many Vietnamese netizens have expressed their excitement on learning about the comeback of the Canadian boyband members.

The Moffatts was one of the most popular boybands in Vietnam during the 1990s, with hits like "If Life is So Short," "Miss You Like Crazy," and "Girl of My Dreams." In 1999, the band performed in Ho Chi Minh City.

Formed in 1990, The Moffatts is a Canadian pop/rock country band composed of brothers Scott, Clint, Bob, and Dave Moffatt. They disbanded in 2011 before embarking on a tour of Asia and releasing some new songs in 2017.
