Citing HK01, The Star reported that despite admitting that he’s not particularly skilled at slicing lemons, Lam won customers with his charm and warm interactions. In addition to selling tea, Lam was seen handing out bouquets and signing autographs for fans, creating a lively and inviting atmosphere at his stall.

Lam has been open about his financial struggles, revealing in March this year that he had been juggling five part-time jobs to make ends meet. He also shared that, to save on living expenses, he traveled to Shenzhen for a tooth extraction procedure, explaining that the cost of the procedure in Hong Kong was equivalent to a month’s worth of food expenses.

"If actors are solely relying on their job as an artiste for income, they won’t have enough to feed themselves," Lam remarked in a vlog.

Now 31, Lam made his acting debut in the 2018 drama "Rescue in the Dark" and rose to fame with his role in the 2023 TVB drama "Queen of News," starring alongside Charmaine Sheh.

Lam holds a degree in Social Work and Social Administration from the University of Hong Kong, graduating in 2017.
