According to Znews, in a recent livestream, Itsaragrisil was asked about his conflict with Chewter and expressed his frustration, stating: "As long as I hold the rights to Miss Universe Thailand and Miss Grand Thailand, she will be eliminated from the first round of any competition, starting now and continuing indefinitely."
"I don’t like people who don’t keep their word, and don’t mention her name in my live session again," he further added.
Earlier this year, Chewter and her manager caused confusion regarding her potential participation in Miss Universe Thailand. After Itsaragrisil acquired the pageant rights, Chewter went live to explain that her numerous advertising commitments prevented her from competing. However, she expressed interest in joining if the pageant rules were amended.
In response, Itsaragrisil invited Chewter and her team for discussions but received no response. The beauty queen’s failure to honor her commitments reportedly led to Itsaragrisil’s decision to ban her from participating in any of the pageants he organizes.
After her victory at the 2023 Miss Universe Thailand pageant, 26-year-old Chewter announced she would relinquish her crown.
Last year, she hinted on social media about competing in a pageant with the initials "MG," sparking speculation that she would join Miss Grand Thailand. However, she ultimately did not participate, despite receiving significant attention and support, leading many to believe she was creating confusion for publicity.
Chewter, of Thai and British descent, previously competed on "The Face Thailand." She boasts over 1.1 million Instagram followers, making her a sought-after name in the advertising industry.
