According to Dimsum Daily, Koo explained that he is "arranging the timing" for the surgery, as he will need to take a week off to rest afterward. Additionally, the procedure will temporarily prevent him from flying, which could affect his work commitments.

In the meantime, to alleviate the discomfort caused by the floaters, Koo has been wearing sunglasses during public appearances.

"Wearing these glasses helps darken the environment, making it less severe," he stated.

Koo, 55, began his acting career in TVB dramas. He earned widespread fame for his roles in "The Condor Heroes," "Detective Investigation Files IV," and "A Step into the Past." His performances in the late 1990s helped him gain a loyal following across Asia.
