According to Dimsum Daily, Chow was recognized by a fan during his run and agreed to take a photo with her once he finished. When another runner mentioned keeping the photo as a personal keepsake without posting it online, Chow humorously responded: "What’s the point of taking a photo if you’re not going to share it? The whole purpose of taking a picture is to share it."

Chow, who has long been known for his love of hiking and jogging, has long demonstrated his love for physical activities. Earlier this year, he completed a 21-kilometer half-marathon in 2 hours, 24 minutes, and 33 seconds. For his 70th birthday in May, he hiked with fellow Hong Kong actor Michael Miu, his wife Jaime Chik, and singer Calvin Choy.

A legendary figure in Hong Kong’s entertainment industry, Chow rose to fame through TVB dramas such as "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" and "The Bund." Throughout his illustrious career, he has earned numerous accolades, including three Hong Kong Film Awards and two Golden Horse Awards for Best Actor.

In 2023, Chow was honored as Asian Filmmaker of the Year at the 28th Busan International Film Festival, joining Tony Leung as the second Hong Kong actor to receive this prestigious recognition.
