Global media celebrate Miss International 2024 winner

According to Tuoi Tre newspaper, Pakistani media outlet Express Tribune praised the Vietnamese beauty queen for her poise and captivating style throughout the pageant, calling her win a celebrated milestone that has inspired fans in Vietnam and beyond.

The Philippine outlet Rappler noted that Thuy triumphed over 70 contestants, becoming the first Miss International winner from Vietnam and the 62nd titleholder in the pageant's history.

In an in-depth feature titled "Who Is Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy? 10 facts about Miss International 2024," Preview, a top fashion site in the Philippines, highlighted Thuy’s background, style, and multilingual skills, noting her as an inspiration for fashion enthusiasts. In a brief interview with Japanese media outlet PR Times, Thuy expressed her joy and gratitude for the support from her family, friends, and fans in Vietnam. "Achieving the highest honor is a dream come true," she said, adding that her focus on her skills, attire, and presentation was instrumental to her historic win.

Thuy, 22, won the Miss International 2024 title on Tuesday night with her consistent performance and responses in Vietnamese, English, and Japanese.
