Former Canadian PM Justin Trudeau spends holiday with estranged wife Sophie as Katy Perry hints at their relationship

Though separated and with Trudeau reportedly involved with Perry, the pair still chose to spend the annual Canadian holiday together on Monday, according to the Daily Mail.

The couple, who ended their 18-year marriage in August 2023, have remained on good terms as they continue to co-parent their three children — Xavier, 18, Ella-Grace, 16, and Hadrien, 11.

Rumors about Trudeau and Perry began last July after the two were seen dining together at Le Violon restaurant in Montreal, a few weeks after Perry confirmed her breakup with Pirates of the Caribbean actor Orlando Bloom. Neither commented on the speculation until photos showing them together on a yacht were shared online.

Over the weekend, singer Perry, 40, was spotted kissing Trudeau, 53, on a 24-meter yacht named Caravelle off the coast of Santa Barbara, California State.

The two appeared affectionate and paid little attention to tourists on a nearby whale-watching boat, it said.

During her Lifetimes tour concert in London on Monday, Perry seemingly confirmed her relationship with Trudeau when she declined a fan’s surprise proposal and said she was already in a relationship, The Sun said.

Around the same time, Sophie posted a cryptic Instagram post about "letting go in love." The 50-year-old TV host told followers in the video post: "Nothing we love is meant to be kept forever. People, places, moments, they’re all meant to be lived, not possessed."

Perry is a single mother to five-year-old Daisy Dove Bloom. She was previously married to comedian Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012 before her relationship with Orlando Bloom.
