According to Dimsum Daily, neither He nor her agency has commented on the account wipe. In addition to this move, He has not updated her social media for more than six months, reportedly skipped major fashion events, and is said to have passed on new endorsement and magazine projects during that period.

Dating rumors between He and Chan first surfaced in 2021 after they were frequently photographed together and reportedly living under the same roof, Singaporean news outlet 8days reported. In 2023, they were said to have split over disagreements about marriage, with some outlets alleging Chan’s family opposed the relationship because He was rumored to have been previously married.

Reports suggest He briefly posted a photo of a marriage certificate on Weibo in 2015 before deleting it, while she has previously maintained that she is single.

Chan, 40, debuted in 2006 with Cantopop group Sun Boy’z before going solo in 2008 and shifting his career focus to mainland China in the years since. He has been romantically linked in the past to Angelababy and Charlene Choi.

Some media have colloquially described him as a "second-generation rich," referencing his late property-developer father.

He, 36, was the first East Asian model to open a Ralph Lauren runway show and the second Chinese model to walk the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She has also appeared on runways for Vivienne Tam, Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel, Dior, and Oscar de la Renta.
