Citing Sinchew, Znews reported that Yang admitted she initially picked up skiing as a hobby and practiced without professional oversight. It was only after a coach pointed out her incorrect techniques that she realized her errors. Following this revelation, she experienced difficulties in lifting her right arm, prompting her to seek medical advice.
Despite her condition, Yang remains upbeat about her situation.
"My skills are not great, I admit that, but the joy of skiing is what matters most," she commented.
Yang, 39, began acting in childhood and rose to fame with her role in the 2011 time-travel historical romance drama "Palace."
She is recognized as one of the New Four Dan Actresses, successors to China’s top-grossing actresses, including Xu Jinglei, Zhou Xun, Vicki Zhao, and Zhang Ziyi.
