Chinese actor Huang Xiaoming deletes post about model influencer girlfriend Ye Ke

The post, originally shared on Sept. 19, had tagged Ye's account and read, "Apologies for the speculation surrounding my private life. Please stop guessing. Ye Ke and I are together."

The removal of the post on Thursday caught the attention of fans, with many speculating that the couple may have broken up or that Ye's decision to leave social media could have led Huang to remove references to their relationship, according to Sina.

The move quickly became a trending topic on Weibo, drawing thousands of comments. Huang has yet to comment on the situation.

Huang and Ye have been dating for over a year, two years after his divorce from actress Angelababy. Huang has been subjected to widespread mockery online, with critics accusing him of "poor judgment in choosing a girlfriend" and alleging that he was "deceived and exploited by Ye for financial gain." On her social media, Ye acknowledged Huang’s distress over the controversy, attributing his composed demeanor to his decision to avoid direct confrontation.

Ye has also faced backlash, with some netizens calling her "fake and irritating" during her livestreams. Past comments of hers have resurfaced, drawing further ridicule. In one instance, when asked if she had undergone cosmetic surgery, Ye candidly replied: "Yes, but not excessively. It’s not like my whole body is fake—only about 40% has been modified." The remark has since become a popular humorous phrase among Chinese youth.

On Nov. 10, Ye apologized on her personal Weibo account for the negative attention surrounding their relationship and announced her decision to step away from social media. According to Sohu, Ye is currently pregnant, and paparazzi spotted Huang accompanying her to a prenatal checkup in Shanghai on Nov. 9.

Huang, 47, is famous for his roles in "The Return of the Condor Heroes", "Shanghai Bund", and "Summer's Desire". He and Angelababy, 35, went public in 2014, married in 2015, and had a son in 2017 before divorcing in 2022. Huang reportedly began dating Ye a few months after the separation.

Ye, a Shenzhen University graduate and former wife of a businessman, is now a prominent influencer and entrepreneur, with her own fashion brand and beauty salon.
