According to Znews, China Times reported that in a video circulating on social media, Kwan is seen wearing a casual orange T-shirt while running his stall. The stall, located at an intersection, consists of a simple table and two plastic chairs to display his chili sauce and condiments.
In the video, Kwan is enthusiastically promoting his products, sharing details about how the chili sauce is made and its unique flavors. Customers seated at the stall are seen listening attentively.
The social media user who uploaded the video humorously captioned it: "Can anyone recognize this famous Hong Kong and Taiwanese celebrity from the past? This is the master from ‘The Legend of Chu Liuxiang.’"
The user also shared the stall’s location, encouraging others to visit: "If you’re free, come by and support him!"
According to Channel News Asia, Kwan began his food and beverage business in 2020, after the Covid-19 pandemic hit. In an interview, he revealed that he could earn NT$200,000 (US$6,831) a month from selling his sauces.
At 71, Kwan was born in Guangzhou and raised in Hong Kong before relocating to Taiwan in the early 1980s, where he eventually settled. His notable film projects include "The Running Mob," "Shaolin Legend," and "The Sword with the Wind Bell."
