Actor Huang Xiaoming’s girlfriend Ye Ke apologizes for public controversy, steps away from social media

In a Weibo post on Sunday, Ye expressed regret, acknowledging that she has been reflecting on her past actions and taking responsibility for any negativity her public statements may have caused. "I sincerely apologize for this," she wrote, as reported by Hongxing News.

Ye also addressed rumors, firmly denying claims that she requested a "break-up fee" of 270 million yuan (approximately $38 million) from Huang, attended a "trophy wife training camp," or was unfaithful in her previous marriage.

She shared her desire to return to a simpler life, citing her health and family’s well-being as reasons for stepping back from social media.

According to Sohu, Ye is currently pregnant, and on Nov. 9, paparazzi spotted Huang accompanying her to a prenatal appointment in Shanghai.

Some netizens have criticized Ye’s online persona, describing her as "fake and annoying." In one popular livestream clip, when a fan asked about cosmetic surgery, Ye responded, "Yes, but not excessively. It’s not like my whole body is fake—only about 40% has been modified." This comment has since become a humorous catchphrase among Chinese youth.

Now News also highlighted that old photos of Ye recently reappeared, showing her participation in China’s "Trophy Wife Training Camp" — a high-end program designed to help women attract wealthy partners by offering luxury wardrobe items and access to affluent networks. Following these revelations, Ye reportedly deleted several photos displaying luxury items.

According to Sohu, Huang and Ye have been dating for over a year, with Huang confirming their relationship on Weibo on Sept. 19, two years after his divorce from actress Angelababy.

Huang, 47, is famous for his roles in "The Return of the Condor Heroes", "Shanghai Bund", and "Summer's Desire". He and Angelababy, 35, went public in 2014, married in 2015, and had a son in 2017 before divorcing in 2022. Huang reportedly began dating Ye a few months after the separation.

Ye, a Shenzhen University graduate and former wife of a businessman, is now a prominent influencer and entrepreneur, with her own fashion brand and beauty salon.
