With the theme "Quang Ninh - Vietnam heritage and the world’s natural heritage", the colored ceramic relief features Ha Long Bay and typical architectural works such as Bai Chay Bridge and the city’s Welcome Gate besides world wonders such as the Leaning Tower of Pisa (Italy), Sydney Opera House (Australia), Eiffel tower (France), Statue of Liberty (U.S), and Pyramids (Egypt).

The work has been created on a large wall at the intersection of the main roads leading to the Bai Chay Tourist Area in Ha Long City, the northern province of Quang Ninh. It cost nearly VND20 billion ($860,000) including for lighting and flower gardens.

The work began last August and finished at the end of December. It was created from 56,000 pieces of colored pottery and stands more than 260 meters in length and 8.45 m in average height.

The Statue of Liberty (U.S) is made of white ceramic.
The sculptor, Nguyen Manh Hung, director of CIC Investment and Construction Design Consultancy Company, said the colored ceramics were heated at 1,200 degrees Celsius (2192 degrees Fahrenheit) to prevent discoloration.
